Alternate Method to change Skins in Among Us
InnerSloth recently introduced an alternative method for character customization. It might just be an easier alternative to the cumbersome process of changing your outfit in the Airlock lobby.
To add cosmetic changes to your avatar, here are the steps that you can follow-
- In the main menu of Among Us, look for a Crewmate-shaped icon at the bottom of the screen. Click on it.
- You will then see a customizations page where you can easily switch tabs to change up different aspects of your outfit. Such the Skin, the Hat, your pet (if you have any), and a bunch more things to choose from.
- You can even purchase brand-new cosmetic items or activate a cosmicube on the same menu. All you need to do is look for the right tab
Once you find the items that you are looking for, equip them by clicking on the respective icon. Close the menu after you are done, and put on your seatbelts as the game is about to start.
Although it might seem like a good idea to change the looks of your character to stand out, it can also prove to be risky. These customization features are solely for cosmetic purposes. However, some skins can be too unique to pull off, if your character is wearing something that is flashy or easily rememberable, it might create problems for you. Other players might suss you quickly, thanks to your unique looks.
