How And Why Has PUBG Mobile Become So Popular | How Popular is PUBG Mobile | PUBG Mobile: World Domination | What is so great about PUBG mobile | Is PUBG worth it? Why is PUBG Mobile still so popular? We have the answers to all your questions.
After taking the Gaming world by storm PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was launched on Mobile in the month of March 2018 for both the Android and iOS platforms respectively.
Being a full on shooter, complete with everything you would expect from a game carrying the PUBG name, there are restrictions on which devices are capable of playing it. Even if you meet those restrictions, depending on the device currently in your hands you might find that the overall experience is either brilliant, or unfortunately, not quite as brilliant as you might have hoped. Regardless, being able to play PUBG at all is quite an achievement on a mobile device in our opinion, so what do you need if you want to be able to join in? We are glad you asked.
Note: Whether you are on Android or iOS, an active internet connection is required for the game to work.
Android:
According to the specifications for the PUBG game, it is compatible with more than 500 devices, which is quite a number to be able to claim. That means you are good to go if you are using a device with Android 5.1.1 or later so long as it has 2GB of RAM or more.
iOS:
When it comes to iOS, the list of devices that are supported is a lengthy one, but essentially, you need to be using something running iOS 9 or later. If you have an iPhone in your hand, it needs to be an iPhone 5s or newer and if you’re using an iPad, then it better be an iPad mini 2 or iPad Air or newer if you want to play PUBG.
The concept is same as the PC version, the players will be dropped by the plane in the open map to grab whatever they can by looting the houses and compounds, survive until the end and get the famous “WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER”.
The mobile version of the PUBG have pretty much the same features as the pc version with few exceptions. The matchmaking works quickly when queueing in squad, duo, or solo mode. The game has built-in voice chat, which works, though it feels like most players just use their phone’s speaker for a mic.The very first version of the PUBG mobile only had the Erangel map, which is still the most played map. Later on the Miramar was added and then the Sanhok. All these maps have their own geographic design and attributes. Miramar is a deserted island, which is ideal for the long range weapons whereas Sanhok is the shortest with just an area of 4×4 km, and is has graphic designs of the Asian culture in its buildings.
